Based in Walsall town centre, Walsall
Youth Arts provides an important resource for young residents aged from
12 to 26. WYA is a base for local young people to gain access to a wide
range of arts and media facilities, and to develop their practical and
personal skills.WYA plans and delivers many different projects aimed at
young people. Importance is given to providing training in arts and media,
and to working with young people on areas of personal development. This
includes issues of identity, self esteem, raising confidence in abilities
and providing opportunities for achievement.There
are opportunities to become involved in arts projects in a variety of
media, including digital art, music & sound production, screen printing,
aerosol art and video production. |
