Safety Soap Box

Arts workers held sessions with sex workers, residents in the 'red light district' and young people at risk in the area to explore local views on prostitution.

Participants created art works, which were compiled into a book and exhibited at the New Art Gallery.

Other work has followed on from this project, including a recently launched leaflet showcasing the findings of research carried out in conjunction with local residents and sex workers, and the Safety Soap Box website.
